Salutations and welcome to my little history archive - I hope you enjoy your stay!

My name is Critter! I am a 28 year old queer librarian who specializes in researching genealogy and history. I hold a B.A. in English with a focus in technical and professional writing. I have worked in libraries for the past 13 years, with the last 3 being at my current position. I enjoy researching everything related to history - from crime to fashion, from photographs to recipes, from cryptids to everyday people - I love it all.

When I first got this job a few years back, I really wasn't that into history. However, after I cracked my first big genealogy case, I knew I had found something new to be passionate about. History has been my special interest ever since. As such, I created a Tumblr account a couple years back to share my findings. However, Tumblr's site is rather...limited for what I wanted to do. So here I am, on Neocities!
